Flash Drive GIVEAWAY!

I have the ultimate giveaway for YOU!
My friends at USB Memory Direct sent me these beauties a couple of weeks ago!

They are an amazing company that values teachers!  They let me pick out custom flash drive to share with all my fabulous followers.
Can I say how hard it was to choose!?  Each flash drive was so unique!  I decided on a flash drive with a lanyard.  As a teacher, we always have a lanyard and we always have that one flash drive that goes missing.  You know the one with all your lesson plans on it...
The lanyard color is totally up to you and you can customize the clip with your logo, school name, or school mascot!

I was sent enough flash drives to do a few giveaways with, so I am giving away 5 flash drives with 5 of my TpT products uploaded to each one!

Stop, Swap, and Roll

I am linking up with Jungle Learners for another Stop, Swap, and Roll!
I have been paired up with the fabulous Emily from Emmy Mac's Class!

I swapped my Dotter Fun pack for her Feed the Dog activity packs!

We are in our addition and subtraction unit in math, so these packs were PERFECT!

The packs go up to 20, but I used 1-12.  Each number has a cute dog and dog dish with the number on the dish.  There are dog bones with addition or subtraction problems on each one.  Your kiddos pick a dog bone, solve the problem, and put it on the answer.

I loved how we could lay all the numbers out and MOVE around to match the answers.

I put all the dog bones in a bucket and had my kiddos pick a bone from the bucket and match it.  We didn't end up using them, but there were also the cutest number lines and counters available too!

Do you want to win a copy of the addition AND subtraction pack!?

Touchtronic Letters Review/Giveaway

I recently was in Atlanta at the EDexpo and got to check out the newest educational materials and supplies.  One of those things were the Touchtronic Letters from Junior Learning.

They are a set of letters that were made to be used on the iPad!  Imagine magnetic letters, but for an iPad!

There are two FREE apps that are compatible with these letters

One app is all about practicing the individual letters and the other is a CVC building app.

The iPad is very interactive, but adding a manipulative that can be used with it makes it 10 times better!  Your kiddos can actually see and touch each letter for better reinforcement.

There are three different games to play with the ABC app.  My kiddos loved the Letter Bubbles!

Find the letter that matches the first sound and "pop" the bubble with it!

This one I LOVED because it isolated that vowel!  This was perfect for my kiddos because this is what we are really working on now!

This CVC app was amazing too!  It starts out with the three blank spots.  Your kiddos build a CVC word and the matching picture shows up on the top.

One thing that I thought was brilliant was that when you start building your word, the app picks up the sight words and reads them for you!

If that isn't great, you can tap on each letter and it says each sound for you.  This is great reinforcement, especially for those short tricky short vowel sounds.

If you aren't already excited, the amazing people at Junior Learning are giving away a set of letters to one of my readers!

PLUS-if you use the word TRONIC at checkout you can recieve 20% off any of their Touchtronic prodcuts!

Read it, Bead it, Type it, Write it

Melissa, from Jungle Learners, contacted me a while back to try out her Read it, Bead it, Write it, Type it pack!

I am SO glad she did because this pack is amazing!  There are so many skills that you hit in one easy to use literacy center!
I used the Pre-Primer Edition with my kinders!
First, your kiddos have their Read it, Bead it, Type it, Write it mat and a stack of sigh words.  These sight words are not just any sight words though.  Each card has pictures on it.

You kiddos need to figure out what the beginning sound of each picture is and then find that bead.  Once they figure out each sound and put their beads on their string, they will have their sight word.
Next, they will write the sight word and then use the keyboard on the bottom to type their word.

This was so fun!

I used a page protector, but you could also laminate!  I had these letter beads from Lakshore, but any letter beads would work out great!

Any activity that makes learning sight words fun PLUS working on beginning sounds is number one in my book!

Melissa was so kind to let me give away a copy to one of my followers!  Merry Christmas to you! :)

FarFaria Reading App~Giveaway

I am about to show you a MUST HAVE app!  If you are like me, you spend way too much time trying to find good reading apps.  In my mind, a good reading app includes tons of books that can be read to your kiddos.  I am about to tell you to stop looking because I got a chance to use an app that does just that with my kinders!  It is called FarFaria!

FarFaria has a collection of over 800 books!  Each book is sorted by certain categories.  The categories are laid out like a map.  You can explore each category by clicking on the island.

My favorite thing about this app is that each story can be read to you!

It also highlights the words as it reads to you...even better, right!?

One thing that I liked was the ability to download the books to the "Favorites" section.  The reason why is because the wireless at my school doesn't always work, so having a book in my "Favorite" section still allows my kiddos to use the app and read each book in that section.

Talk about a lifesaver!  There are too many times I can't use my iPads because most apps don't have an offline option.

Every book is also leveled, so you can pick books that are appropriate for your kiddos reading level!

There are 5 books added each week.  You can download the app for free and view one book a day OR pay for a subscription!  They have many different options for subscriptions from monthly to lifetime!  FarFaria is designed for Apple and Android devices.

Guess what!?  FarFaria is giving away a 3 month subscription!!  Enter to win a 3 month subscription! I am also giving away a winner's choice to my store to 3 lucky winners!
