Teacher Appreciation Freebies

Monday, May 6, 2019
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!
I wanted to celebrate YOU all week long with a NEW freebie every day this week!
I'm kicking off day 1 with a summer themed subtraction center.

Your kiddos can play two ways!

They can sort the cards by the answers to the equations or they can pick an equation and record on their recording sheet.

All these freebies will be posted in my store, so make sure you are following so you don't miss out on any this week!

Finally a FREEBIE!

Wednesday, December 4, 2013
I am sorry it has been so long since I have posted a freebie! I had motivation for this freebie!
The bell rings for school to start and this is what my room looked like...
EMPTY!!  Empty because of this....

Don't worry, they ALL showed up today! ;)
Now onto the freebie!  It literally snowed ALL day and it is still snowing!  After this lovely snow we are getting COLD temps-like tomorrow it will be 6...single digits...ah!
That is why I created this Snowy Subtraction center!
Subtraction cards with a recording sheet!  I put 2 recording sheets per page to help with saving on the paper!
Plus-a fun cut and paste worksheet!

Hope you can use this in your classroom! :)

Subtraction Games

Wednesday, March 20, 2013
It is SPRING!!  Yay!  The Spring weather can come any day now! :)  We have been working on subtraction in math for the past week and I wanted to share a couple of fun games that my kiddos LOVED! Yesterday, we played MUSICAL CHAIRS!  Our lesson was about subtracting from 8, so I had 8 chairs out and we played then subtracted the chairs after each round.

The second game we played today and it included a DICE!  *Insert children screaming and cheering*  Yes,  a dice is THAT exciting!  We were subtracting from 9 today and rolled a dice to figure out what number we would subtract from 9!  My kiddos all took turns rolling and creating their subtraction problem.  I don't have pictures, but we did it as a whole group and I might make it into my next math center!

Hope everyone enjoyed their first day of Spring!

Also, my bloggy friend and real life friend (serious, we teach at the same school!), Irene, from Learning with Mrs. Leeby is hosting her 400 Follower Giveaway!  She rocks!
