Number Match Hearts

Tuesday, January 29, 2019
I have an EASY math center for you today!  Yes, it is perfect for the whole month of February or really any time of year!

I found these foam hearts from Target a few years back, but I am sure you could find them anywhere this time of year.
I wrote a number and the matching number of hearts.
Your kiddos can count and put different objects on each hear to match that number.
For more of a challenge, you can have your kiddos pick two hearts and add them together!

Heart Box Math Center

Monday, January 28, 2019
I'm back for another FREE Valentine's Day activity!
I got these heart shape boxes from Walmart!

I created a fun addition center you can add to your centers the month of February!

Cut out the addition problems and put one problem in each box.

Your kiddos will pick a box and write the equation on their recording sheet.

Grab it HERE!

Valentine's day is coming up quick!

I wanted to share the February cards with you.

These cards are great for a sensory bin or reading/math center.

I paired the number cards with heart table scatter to create and easy math center!  Your kiddos identify the number and count out the matching number of heart scatter pieces.

If you're looking for candy-free Valentine cards, you've come to the right place!
I created three different Valentine cards that can be given with an inexpensive toy instead of candy.
I got the rubber ducky superheros from Oriental Trading.  If you used these for beginning of the year gifts, then check out the dinosaur themed cards.  These dinosaurs I found at Dollar Tree!

Valentine's Day Party Prep

Monday, January 29, 2018
You are probably thinking it is not even February, but February is right around the corner-literally it is Thursday!
I wanted to show you my Valentine's Day party prep with you!
One of the things we do before our party is decorate our Valentine's bags.

I usually put out a bunch of stickers on each table and let the kiddos go to town.

These are the new stickers I got this year in addition to some foam stickers I have from last year!
During our party, the kiddos rotate to each table to do a fun Valentine's Day activity.  Here are a few of the activities we are doing this year!
We will do this cute sticker scene.  My kiddos love these and even did a gingerbread house one during the holidays!

I went back and forth with parent gifts and settled on this cute bear magnet.  Easy prep and all the pieces are self-adhesive!  WIN, WIN!

We will decorate cookies too! Well, these foam cookies!  I love that these crafts come individually wrapped with all the supplies ready to go!
Finally, I wanted to show you the Valentine's I am handing out to my kiddos.  Non-candy and super fun!

* Note: I was given these items from Oriental Trading in exchange for a review.  All opinions are my own*

Valentine's Day is right around the corner!  A fun math activity we do is graphing candy hearts.

I bought a big bag of mini candy hearts at the greatest store ever (TARGET) and took a look at my current graphing sheet then realized I needed some new colors!

I was came up with THIS and wanted to share it with you :)

Oriental Trading- Valentine's Day

Sunday, January 29, 2017
Oriental Trading has sent me some more goodies to make your Valentine's Day party even better!
Make sure to check out all the Valentine's goodies they have to offer by clicking HERE!
Now, check out some of the things they have sent me.  A big part of our V-Day activities is our card exchange.  Which means we need to make some cute Valentine bags.
I got these great white craft bags.  They are the perfect size for all those cards.

I am going to use these heart shaped doilies to write each kiddos' name on then we are going to decorate using some other great crafting materials!

I got some self-adhesive foam pieces to decorate the bags.

I also got some Valentine stampers too!  There are about 50 in a pack, so I plan on letting my kiddos take one home after we finish decorating!

Oriental Trading has a lot of cute V-Day cards too!  I grabbed these cute superhero cards that come with a bracelet!

A fun V-Day craft idea is to take these cute heart shaped pony beads and stringing them on a pipe cleaner to make a bracelet.  Challenge your kiddos to make a pattern out of it.

The day after Valentine's Day is our 100th Day!  Yes, this will be a crazy but fun week!

Oriental Trading has some fun 100th Day supplies!  I found these great certificates and pencils to hand out on our 100th Day!

I hope you found some goodies to use in your classroom this Valentine's Day! :)

Valentine's Day Centers!

Tuesday, February 3, 2015
I pulled out some Valentine's Day centers this week!
These adorable love monster sight word cards are from my Love Monster activity pack!  I put them into my word work centers and had my kiddos build each word on a baking pan!
The next couple activities are from my Valentine's Day Writing Center Activities pack!
I laminated the recording sheet so we can reuse it.  I have my kiddos pick a word, find it on the sheet, trace, and write it!
Updated my writing center to put in these sheets!
My kinders read, trace, write, and build each sentence
